Awwww...thanks for remembering me!!!  My face just lit up when I saw your post.  I haven't been on here in so long that I was sure no one had anything to say to, or about, me.  You just made my day!!

Good morning.  I'm ready for a full day of working on folders at my office.  I have my homebound student after work.  Hoping today there doesn't involve any mice or bugs crawling on my purse this time...yuck!

Liz...get some sleep on the plane.  Have a fun working trip.  Hope Deanna feels better soon.

Prayers for all others who need them.  Alissa's foot to heal and Michelle's health problems and multiple sick family members.

Morning all!  It's a wet and snowy morning here in AL.  They are expecting accumulations at about 1 inch, not too bad. It’ll be just enough to make the roads slippery and nightmarish.  Gawd, I am so ready for spring, I could just spit!    Like everyone else, I'm just fed up with this cold, wet weather.

Things are moving too slowly on the job front, I'm also very weary of that.  It’s getting to the point of driving me crazy (ier???).  I wish that I could report something good on that front, but it’s just not happening, it’s quite disillusioning. I suppose that it’s soon going to be time to start packing up my house to move back to Somewhere, TX.  I guess that I am fortunate that I have family and good friends to help me out (with a place to live) for the immediate future.  I know that something will turn up sooner or later……

Alissa thanks for the advice on the bi-polar meds. Unfortunately the doc said that he can't do the Risperdal with the Geodon and the Lamictal. He goes to the next tier of dosage on the Lamictal on Friday. The doc said he really should start to see an improvement after that and it should continue to get better. he goes back to the doc on the 23rd and I think he goes to 75. The  dosage is 200 mg. so we have a way to go. These 2 meds were the only mood stabilizers that DO NOT cause weight gain, so that is why he put him on them. He startted with one Geodon and is supposed to move up to 2, but man, the 1 just knocks him out! He's afraid with 2 he will over sleep in the morning.

Finished my Business Class up this weekend with a 90.5! Grades are very important to me, so I was very happy with an A. Next class starts the 8th and it is Intermediate Algebra. I just hope to pass that one! LOL

Baby Annabella had a good day. Steph said she thinks she is permanently attached to her boob!! LOL They were not able to stitch the tear up for Steph, so she has to pack it and dress it twice a day. My neice will help her throughout the day (if she doesn't drive her nuts first) and then my oldest daughter will do the dressing change when she gets home from work.

Have a safe trip and get some shuteye Liz! Hope you meet some fun folks!

Gina- Lamictal has been a miracle drug for Christopher. I've read alot of feedback from adults on it too and all has been positive. I hope it works well for him!!
Sorry the recovery isn't so great for mama-glad Annabella is doing well!

That's interesting.... I took Lamictal for my seizures last year. My neuro said that he prescribes it for all childbearing age women with seizures since it would be relatively safe during an unplanned pregnancy.

It is interesting. They've found that anti-seizure meds are good for mood stabilization in people with bipolar because their brains are wired differently and that's how that medication works for them. Chris was on Depakote for years and that's also an anti-seizure medication. Its all neuro-biological related.

Good morning...I woke up at 5 AM thinking about riding my exercise bike cuz I promised Karla I would.  Well that thought lasted about 2 minutes~I promptly turned over and went back to sleep. BUT-I'm off today so no excuses.  I will ride it today cuz I can always sit in the hot tub if I need to afterward. (and I probably will).

I actually have 3 days off, work Friday, then have the weekend off.  I'm hoping to be able to take off Friday too so I'll have 6 days in a row off.  I need some time to get stuff done around here.  My new PURPLE laptop should arrive tomorrow~his name is BARNEY, which is fitting since he's PURPLE (but hopefully not a dinosaur since it's brand new).  I can't wait.  I've never owned a laptop but after playing with Becky's all last weekend, I decided I needed one.

Better get some clothes on and start my day, I've got lots to do and pugs to play with.
